Yesterday Was No Good Day (Lost Monuments)

(6 min HD video, 2014)
An explorer in projects has reached the end of the road in search for creative meaning.
The spatial reference in the work is an analogy of vulnerability or dysfunctionality. Reference is made to personal and public history versus oblivion expressed in the state of architecture. The work formulates itself as a memorial to historical facts in relation to the Japanese occupation of Singapore (1942-45). It launches a reflection and an unpretending documentation on obscured history.
